LT Risk Score methodology

Higher means more concern or uncertainty — not a measured chance of harm. The score is editorial, not clinically validated. Lower does not mean safe or effective.

The 0–100 score combines biological harm (40%), evidence uncertainty (35%) and translation / implementation risk (25%). Each dimension is rated 0–4: score = Σ (rating ÷ 4 × weight × 100), rounded.

0–24: lower · 25–49: moderate · 50–74: high · 75–100: very high. These bands are editorial, not validated clinical thresholds. Unknown inputs produce “Unrated”, never a zero.

For proposed longevity use, not approved disease-specific treatment. A high score can reflect missing evidence rather than known toxicity. A lower score does not imply usefulness or safety. Scores are not probabilities of harm and cannot be used to compare individual treatment choices.

Potential labels describe the scope of a hypothesis, not its likelihood of success. Effects in animals and changes in biomarkers are not converted into extra human life-years.
